Louie – Adoption Pending!

Hi my name is Louie and I am a 6 month old, 60lb Great Dane/Pyrenees. My sister and I were dumped by our owner at an Ace Hardware store in Oklahoma and promptly taken away and put in a cold scary shelter. My sister got the looks in the family so she was adopted right away. I was left behind in the shelter for a long time until one day someone from the rescue met me and decided I was just as cute as my sister! She also said I was sweet, happy and loving and she took me home with her! My new foster home is filled with lots of other dogs to play with and even 2 cats. My foster mom has been making me really good food because she said I was too skinny and need to gain some weight. I have also been working really hard on house training and am getting better every day. I know some simple commands like “sit” and I come when called. I am not a fan of “the crate” as it reminds me of being in the shelter so my foster mom leaves me with all the other dogs when she goes out. I am very well behaved and don’t chew or destroy anything. I am a puppy, but I am not a hyper puppy. My foster mom calls me “calm” and “laidback” whatever that means. I just know I really love a good long nap!

My ideal forever home would include a physical fence (I am a Pyr after all!), a doggie sibling or two and of course, lots of love and attention. I have not been around kids yet, but I know I would love them.

I am healthy, neutered, up to date on all my vaccinations and currently in a foster home in Oklahoma. My bags are packed and I am ready for my forever home!
