Hi my name is Sammy and I am a Shepherd/St. Bernard mix! I am 30lbs and 4 mos old so I will be a large dog when I grow up. I have always been a happy fun loving puppy living in a home until a couple weeks ago when I wound up dumped in a high kill shelter. I am not sure what happened to my siblings or my mom, but I was sad and very scared there all alone. Thankfully a really nice lady from a rescue came and picked me up and brought me to a foster home. My foster mom is awesome. She plays fetch with me every day and I return every time! There are several dogs in my foster home and I love to play with them especially my new “bestie” Toby. Toby and I are the same age and he is much smaller than I am so I am very careful when I play with him so that I don’t hurt him. My foster mom says I have a laid back personality and I am not sure what that means, she she seems to like it! I am crate trained. I also know how to “sit” already and am working on housetraining. My ideal home would have another dog (or two) and a nice big yard to run and play in. I think I would like a human sibling too! I am neutered and vaccinated and ready to go!
I am still in Texas but anxious to head to my forever home in New England which they tell me will be very soon. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or submit an application on the website (www.asecondchanceforziva.com) if you want to adopt me. I promise I will make you very happy if you do!
