Daisy

Hi my name is Daisy and I am a 5 month old, 45lb Great Pyrenees/Retriever mix. I was dumped by my owner in a strange and scary place and all alone. Someone stopped to see if I was OK and then put me in his car and brought me to the local shelter in the hope I might get adopted or rescued. The shelter was just as scary as being left outside and all alone but I was thankful there were two other puppies right next to me to keep me company. Soon after, I was pulled by a rescue along with the two puppies named Jonah and Jessie who were brother and sister. We all went to live in a foster home together and our foster mom said she got us just in the “nick of time”. I will admit, we were all a little shy at first, but now that we have had some time to settle into our new foster home, we are all very happy. My new foster home is filled with lots of other dogs to play with but my two BFFs are still Jonah and Jessie. My foster mom has been making me really good food (she says I am a little skinny) and spending lots of time with me. She says I am sweet and lovable and am so well behaved. She also said she can see the retriever in me because I just love those tennis balls! I am currently working on my basic commands, and also coming when called, but I am still learning my new name. I am going to be a big dog when I am full grown so will need a big yard to roam and play in.

My ideal forever home would include a physical fence (I am a Pyr after all!) and of course, lots of love and attention. I wouldn’t mind a doggie sibling or two. I have not been around kids yet, but I know I would love them.

I am healthy, spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations and currently in a foster home in Texas. My bags are packed and I am ready for my forever home!
